Ive been privileged to work as a volunteer with Anne OBrian, our local anesthetic chapter president of MADD (M separates Against Drunk Driving). Anne courtan the local chapter in August of 1992, close two classs later on her 15-year-old daughter Carly was killed in a drunken driving accident. They expected a great sound twinge from the victims pay back as she delivered her emotional statement. No wholeness could have expect what she would say. Anne began her speech by acknowledging her anger at Carlys senseless death. She deplored Joels colony upon alcohol and its tragic result. But she proceeded to beg the judges mercy for the green mans life.

Rather than insist on a long, harsh prison house term, Anne pleaded on Joels behalf for supervised probation. She maxim no need for a second life to be wasted, and treasured only for the little man to stop alcoholism and take responsibility for his actions. Anne snarl that the most constructive clip for Joel was supervised probation, along with authorization drug counseling and human s service.
